Journée pyjama, stuffy, collation et film

Parce que nous avons remplit notre contenant de billes (gem jar), n'oubliez pas que demain c'est notre journée pyjama et film demain. Tu peux aussi apporter ton stuffy.

Don't forget that because we filled our marble jar (gem jar), tomorrow is our pyjama and movie day. You can also bring your stuffy. You may also bring a snack to share with the class. Please make sure that it is nut-free. We are also voting on a movie to watch in class. Don't forget that the movie you bring must be rated G!

Les arts visuels/ Update: Visual Arts

N'oubliez pas que Secret Santa commence demain! Apportez le breuvage pour votre ami secret.

Une petite mise à jour sur les arts visuels: Mlle Treboutat travaille avec nous depuis la fin novembre. Nous avons eu des leçons sur Picasso et DaVinci sur les portraits. Voici des exemples de nos artistes: 

An update on Visual Arts: Mlle Treboutat has been working with us since the end of November. We have had lessons on Picasso and DaVinci on different portrait styles. Here are some examples from our artists:

Christmas Concert

Our Christmas Concert will be tomorrow night from 5-7pm. Should your child not be able to attend, please let me know via a note in their agenda. Our performance time is at 6:30. Please have your child be in our classroom by no later than 6:15. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to watching all of our hard work pay off in our performance.

Événements de Noël/ Christmas Events

Afin de nous préparer pour Noël, nous suivons le thème de notre Conseil d'école By our works, we show our faith. Pour faire un exemple de ce thème, à l'école nous faisons les choses suivantes:

- du 9 au 13 décembre, nous allons apporter de la nourriture non-périsable pour donner au Stittsville Food Bank.

- Aussi, s'il vous plaît continuez à apporter des nouveaux jouets ou des nouveaux objets hygiéniques (une brosse à dents, une brosse à cheveux...) pour donner aux enfants de St. Luke.

- Enfin, s'il vous plaît continuez à apporter des nouveaux jouets pour Toy Mountain.

In order to prepare ourselves for Christmas, we continue to follow our Board's theme By our works, we show our faith. To be examples of this, at St. Stephen, we are doing the following:

- from December 9th to 13th, bring in non-perishable food items to donate to the Stittsville Food Bank. The class who brings in the most non-perishable food items gets a timbits and hot chocolate breakfast courtesey of the school administration.

- Also, please continue to bring in new toys or new hygenic objects (such as a tooth brush, a hair brush,...) to give to the kids and families of St. Luke.

- Lastly, please continue to give new, unopened toys to school for Toy Mountain, supporting families in need in Ottawa.
